This is a buffet on steroids (in a good way)! The food is always seasoned just right, it’s always hot, kept fresh, and always clean! Service is quick and with a smile. All around a great place to have lunch at. Price is where it should be. If you go on a Sunday expect to wait a few minutes. It’s worth the wait.
Large dining area, excellent service, unique decor and ambiance, and delicious food. Five of us ate lunch here and our total was 64 before tip, which is a bit pricey, but we didn’t leave hungry. They even have a dessert bar with brownies, banana pudding, apple cobbler, blueberry cobbler, and blue bell ice cream. Couple that with their awesome fried okra, and you have a winner.
First time here but we'll worth the trip which was around 2 hour one way. Definitely added to one of weekend dinners. Great food and awsome staff.
I had the pleasure to work directly with Lori. She was truly amazing. Our family had to cater our thanksgiving meal this year to give my grandmother much needed rest. From the initial inquiry to the pick up, Lori had such amazing communication skills and her customer service was top tier. The food and desserts looks amazing and we absolutely can not wait until tomorrow to dig in. To the receptionist, coordinators, cashiers, cooks and waiters-Thank you all so much for preparing our meal, blessings and abundance to you all and your business and I pray you all have an amazing holiday season. This place is quite a surprise. Food is all fresh and still tender despite being a buffet. Staff is very responsive and friendly. Go to place for me now!
Stopped by this place to grab a bite to eat. It's good southern 'buffet style' food. The majority of places cook their vegetables with some sort of meat in it and I usually skip out because not everyone eat pork. This place cooked all of their vegetables without any meat and still plenty of flavor. The cornbread wasn't to sweet and the tea was refreshing. There are lots of vintage signs, posters, and artifacts throughout the facility.
I was in Hattiesburg Ms for a week to visit my Mom, Sister & Brother in Law Danny Anderson. I'm from Nashville TN. They said we have to take you to Movie Star Buffet . I will say this place is one of the best country home cooking I've ever eaten. The chicken is crispy & tender and not creasy at all. I tried to taste a little bit of all of it all. Meatloaf, Baked Smoked chicken, Chicken fried steak, & Crispy chicken. It was all top notch and very flavorful, cooked perfect and seasoned just right! The Deserts are awesome all homemade, peach cobbler, banana pudding & Bluebell Ice-cream. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food and it's a Buffet eat all you want!! I did meet the owners they were very friendly as well as the waitress. The service was fantastic!! I highly recommend this place if you ever in Hattiesburg Ms!!
Consistently good food, country cooking, fried chicken is wonderful! Staff are friendly, responsive and a hard working group. It is a local favorite!
